Gal 4:4-5 - "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made
of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might
receive the adoption of sons."

*Praises
1. For about 90 friends who attended the Birthday Party for Jesus trainings held
this week! Pray for each one as they minister to the boys and girls this Christmas
season.
2. For a very good meeting this week with Attucks Elementary (KCMO) for a Good News
Club to begin there soon--more details to come!
*Prayer Requests:
1. Please be much in prayer for our precious CEF volunteer and friend, Julie Wong.
She was just diagnosed this past week with breast cancer and is meeting with doctors
today about direction for further treatment. We truly love Julie and her family and
know that all is in His hands.
2. Pray for the following Good News Clubs beginning next week. Pray for good
attendance, salvation and growth of the children, and for the teams to have wisdom and
strength from the Lord as they minister to the children.
*Dec. 10th--Harold Holliday Montessori (KCMO)--We rejoice in being able to return
again to this school after a few years. The club will be on Thursdays at 4:15
p.m. The adopting church is Park Avenue Baptist (KCMO).
*Dec. 10th--Askew Elementary (KCMO)--a NEW location! The club will be on
Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. The adopting church is Paseo Baptist (KCMO).
3. In the next 2 weeks, many of our Good News Club teams will be holding Birthday
Parties for Jesus at their school. Please pray for the parties to be fruitful for
the Lord and for new children to be reached too.
*Good News Club Prayer Spotlight:
1. Butcher-Greene Elementary (Grandview district)--Praise for the children's
readiness to learn and pray for the school staff, Good News Club team, and parents to
continue to work together.
2. Pawnee Elementary (Shawnee Mission district)--Praise for a good team of concerned
workers and pray that a boy (N.) who accepted Jesus (and doesn't attend church) will
return to club consistently and for other children who attended earlier clubs from
this year and last year to return.
3. Voy Spears Elementary (Blue Springs district)--Praise for faithfulness on the part
of the children who attend club each week and pray for more children to attend as the
Lord leads.
4. James Walker Elementary (Blue Springs district)--Praise for 90 children enrolled
and for a 9 year old girl (N.) recently counseled for salvation and pray for the
children and leaders to be healthy.
